Ryder Moving Trucks #24

Ryder Moving Trucks

When the time finally came to leave the city where I had attended college and move back closer to my family, it was a trying experience. My boyfriend and I had had enough of the city we lived in, and when someone was shot in front of us on the street, we considered that the last straw. The time had come to leave college memories behind and move closer to family and to finally get settled into a more stable life. When we left, we left a lot behind, but we couldnt part with everything. So we looked for a long distance rental truck and ended up renting one of the many Ryder moving trucks at our disposal.

Renting Ryder moving trucks was less of a painful experience than we thought it would be. They wanted a deposit or a credit card number, so we opted for the cash deposit. Im not normally so free with cash, but Ryder had a good reputation, so I had no trouble handing it over, knowing I would get it back at the end of our move. There were many sizes of Ryder moving trucks from which to choose. We went with the largest we could get on short notice, and it turned out to be the perfect size for the items we decided to take with us.

When you use Ryder moving trucks for long distance moves, you arent going to pay a flat fee. Some trucks used for local moves are rented for a flat fee depending on the size of the truck. In our case, they charged us by the mile. This was fine, because it ended up costing us less than anyone else we called, and they seemed to be the friendliest people we had spoken too. We drove the three hundred miles to our new home, unloaded the truck, and returned it to a dealer near us. Our deposit was returned, and from that day on, whenever I need a truck, I always turn to them.

If you are thinking of using Ryder moving trucks, you have made a good choice. Most of their trucks are up to date, and you will find the fees to be reasonable. Remember that you will need to put a deposit down, or provide a credit card number when you rent Ryder moving trucks, and that they must be full of gas once you return them. I think the rules are pretty much the same with any rental, though. As long as you return the truck when you are supposed to, and havent had an accident, there should be no reason why your deposit is not returned to you in full.
